this is inspired off “i’m your man” by mitski, and inspired off of my ex

i feel like i’ve always loved like a dog, i craved my dads approval, i craved my moms love, and ill do anything to feel like im worthy of your love, especially in relationships, i’ll let you ignore me and treat me awfully, and i’d forgive you. exactly like a dog, because dogs are loyal like that, they don’t care if you’ll kick or starve them, because they love you, and they just want you to love them back,

so, i’ll love you like a dog, and you’ll betray me like a man, a cruel man, a man so cruel that he’ll ignore you for hours, and a man so cruel he’ll make you feel like you have to walk on eggshells around him in order not to upset him, and out of all this cruel behavior, one side of him is gentle, and beautiful, so you’ll stay for the cruel weeks in order to get to see that beautiful side of him. even if it’s just once or twice, and you’ll say you’ll love him through every part of him, even when you’re getting torn apart during the bad.

men are so evil, they’ll trick you into being something turning out to be the other, it’s not your fault for being tricked, it’s not your fault for wanting to be loved.
